Migrate Outlook data from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007
There are many features that make Outlook 2007 more comprehensive and the more preferred email client over Outlook 2003. Some of the key features of Outlook 2007 include an Instant Search option, that lets you search for any data instantly. There are better time management and prioritization options available in outlook 2007. Besides this Outlook 2007 also provides auto detection and configuration of an user's email account in Active directory.
These advanced and improved features have resulted in many users slowly shifting from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007. But, there is a small issue that Outlook users might face, when they try to work on Outlook 2007 by using the data that was present in Outlook 2003. This is because, there is a considerable difference in the Registry settings of these two versions of Outlook. Hence, a person using Outlook 2003 cannot continue using Outlook 2007 with the same Outlook data, as data would not be organized in a proper manner in Outlook 2007.
In order to retain all your Outlook 2003 data, and continue using the same, you would need to migrate all your Outlook data from Outlook 2003 to Outlook 2007. This can be done easily using a good Outlook migration software.
